The MinTIC, Apps.co and Seedstars are launching the Digital Expansion Program in Colombia. In 2020, 15 Colombian startups, who want to expand their business to international markets, will undergo a free and virtual acceleration program up to almost 15 weeks.
All selected entrepreneurs met the selection criteria which is being legally incorporated in Colombia with their own digital product in a defined market segment and sales equal to or more than 300 million pesos in the last 18 months (Last month: June 2020). Moreover, the startups were invited to two online interviews where they were evaluated by national and international experts in product and entrepreneurship.

The chosen entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to receive an innovative acceleration program where they will receive specialized workshops and bootcamps on immersion in new markets, growth programs, and also they will learn how to do a business pitch. In addition, they will have access to a tool kit and participate in online events.

El MinTIC, Apps.co y Seedstars lanzan el Programa de Expansión Digital en Colombia. En el 2020, 15 empresas colombianas que quieran expandir su negocio digital en mercados internacionales tendrán la oportunidad de ser parte de un programa de aceleración virtual y gratuito durante 15 semanas.
Los empresarios seleccionados cumplieron con los requisitos de selección tales como: tener una empresa legalmente constituida en Colombia con un producto digital propio en un segmento de mercado definido y ventas iguales o superiores a 300 millones de pesos en los últimos 18 meses, (siendo el último mes de junio de 2020). Además, los empresarios fueron invitados a dos entrevistas virtuales las cuales fueron evaluadas por jurados nacionales e internacionales expertos en producto y emprendimiento.
“Desde el ministerio de las TIC estamos impulsando pero sobre todo acelerando muy rápidamente diferentes proyectos que nos van a conllevar a fortalecer a empresarios.”
Los empresarios seleccionados tendrán la oportunidad de recibir un programa de aceleración innovador donde recibirán talleres y entrenamientos especializados en: Inmersión en nuevos mercados, entrenamientos en crecimiento empresarial y aprenderán a como hacer un pitch de negocios. Además, tendrán acceso a herramientas digitales y participarán en eventos online.
