Astana Hub is specifically dedicated to the development of the startup culture in the entire region of Central Asia, and to support high-tech projects that can strengthen the national economy.
Startup applications are open here until July 1st. The event will also be a great opportunity for citizens and guests from abroad to see how the Hub has developed the venue, being now able to host the startups from all over the region. Astana Hub is not only going to provide free office spaces, but will also take care of training and business mentoring of the teams, provide developers and vast networking opportunities to the residents. Moreover, the government of Kazakhstan is currently developing the law aimed at simplifying the visa process, working conditions and tax exempts for international residents.
Following their mission, Astana Hub will soon become the center for ecosystem enabling, as well as a unified digital and marketing platform for startups, IT companies, investors and other stakeholders, thus contributing to the growth of the largest technological companies in Kazakhstan in the near future.
The international hub works together with the Ministry of Information and Communication of Republic of Kazakhstan and National ICT Holding “Zerde”, within the framework of development of governmental program “Digital Kazakhstan”.
The official opening of the Hub will take place on July 3rd. However, the organization is working already and the first acceleration program for talented IT-specialists was launched on February 7, 2018. Participants were provided with comfortable conditions like free offices, advanced infrastructure, mentors, and educational courses.
So far, the Hub is already providing consultancy for young entrepreneurs to help them find partners and scale up. Next admission to a similar program is set for July 2018.
