Maanasa Mendu: Access to Clean Affordable Energy

“The issue with the energy crisis lies not in the fact that we lack ideas or solutions to solve it, but rather in the fact that we are unable to get these solutions to the people who need them the most,” Maanasa Mendu, a 16-year-old inventor and scientist.

Maanasa cares. She cares as much as you do about the well-being of our planet and its citizens. Inspired by her trip to India and seeing how many people don’t have access to energy, Maanasa designed a $5 device that harvests clean energy from sun, wind and rain.
