When Ziad couldn't find a tool to help him manage his needs as a diabetic, he took matters into his own hands and created Spike, a mobile assistant that helps diabetics keep better track of their health. The technology offers services that monitor the patient's daily behavior and jumps in with reminders for insulin, food, activity, etc. when needed. As a serial entrepreneur making the jump from edutech to healthtech, Ziad talks about his experiences as a founder constantly motivated to look out for the next problems he can solve. In this podcast, he also shares with us how he navigates through life as a startup founder in Lebanon and imparts some wisdom for other entrepreneurs.
