Problem we are solving

Lack of access to quality and affordable inputs, dearth of information on good agricultural practices, and accessing guaranteed markets for their produce are critical challenges that affect African smallholder farmers. It leads to yields at a third of global yield averages (IFPR-World Development Report 2008), and high post harvest losses swinging between 40 and 60% per annum (FAO/AGRA 2012). These problems severely limit the earning potential of African smallholder farmers, keeping them as part of the 75% of all people who live on under $1 a day.

Solution
