ATTEND DEMO DAYThe CTCN Youth Climate Academy has come to an end, a program focused on helping idea-stage companies develop, implement and scale their solutions for climate action. The program has been organized by the UN Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN), which is co-hosted by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), in partnership with SAFEEM and Seedstars. The project is funded by the European Union (EU)
The CTCN Climate Academy was designed to help idea-stage companies develop, implement, and scale their solutions for climate action. Eleven startups specialized in energy sustainability, electricity, food, agriculture, deforestation, environments, waste management, and more are ready to pitch at the Youth Climate Innovation Lab Demo Day.
Eleven selected startups from Africa and Asia pacific solving climate action and specializing in a variety of industries like energy sustainability, electricity, food, agriculture, deforestation, environments, waste management among others will be pitching on the Earth Day at the Youth Climate Innovation Labs Demo Day the next 22 of April, at 11:30 am CET. Startups will have the chance to meet in 1:1 meetings with investors, partners, and experts of the industry.

Climate Technology Centre and Newtwork (CTCN)
The CTCN promotes the accelerated transfer of environmentally sound technologies for low carbon and climate-resilient development at the request of developing countries. It provides technology solutions, capacity building and advice on policy, legal and regulatory frameworks tailored to the needs of individual countries. The Centre is the operational arm of the UNFCCC Technology Mechanism, it is hosted and managed by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and supported by more than 600 network partners around the world.
