Hailing from Ghana, Liberia, and Lebanon, Nadia Eman Ibrahim, popularly known as Lalah Nadya realized her passion for fashion while working as an Assistant Human Resource Manager in 2016. She went on to win an award for Most Creative Student during her graduation from RIOHS College of Design where she studied Fashion and Design. TABOU – Formerly called DIA by Sarah Elizabeth, Nadia decided to rebrand from a bespoke brand to a sustainable ready-to-wear brand. The name Tabou is very dear to her because it’s the name of a little town on the coast of Cote d’Ivoire where she grew up and has the best memories. From creating designs that have little to zero waste to using second-hand fabrics and clothes to create new designs is what Tabou is all about.
