Abiola Adeniran-Olusola is a Nigerian fashion designer and a founder of contemporary women’s fashion house - ABIOLA OLUSOLA. With a distinct fusion of structural cuts, sleek architecture, African cultures and craftsmanship in the brand, Abiola is dedicated to show casing and working with local African crafts men and women to create and highlight ways in which traditional fabrics and ethos can be part of contemporary living. After graduating from University of Lagos in 2010 and she then studied Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni, Paris, in 2015. While at Marangoni, she interned at Givenchy and Lanvin. Her graduate collection in mens wear was immediately selected to be a part of a collective showing at Florence Pitti Uomo and Paris. Abio was selected as one of the designers for the 2021 trunk show with Moda Operandi and Lagos fashion design week, expanding retail partnerships across the globe, features in publications such as Vogue, Elle, CNN, Wonderland and many more.
